Zsa Zsa Gabor remained hospitalized in Los Angeles on Sunday and was doing "a little better," but stomach surgery to reattach a feeding tube was delayed as she continues to run a high fever, her husband said.

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center Saturday (Oct. 8) after she had slipped into unconsciousness and was running a high fever. But now her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, tells the AP that Gabor's fever is down, she has responded to antibiotics and she has opened her eyes.

The actress, although unable to move or speak, has been able to open her eyes and squeeze her husband's hand, said Von Anhalt, who spent the night at the hospital with his wife.

"She's a big fighter," he said. "... I always feel optimistic, because I know her."

Doctors expressed "guarded optimism" about Gabor's recovery although her condition was still critical, her publicist John Blanchette said.
